Hall of Mirrors is the project I share with Giuseppe Verticchio / Nimh from Rome. Following the previous “Altered Nights“, released on Malignant Records back in 2012, the fourth HOM album – entitled “When Only Shades Remain” – is out now on Italian label Eibon Records.

Our previous releases have used different guests/collaborators on each work, making it a distinctive feature of the project, but for this new chapter we decided to go alone. The album was created between May 2016 and January 2018, and it comes in a gorgeous gatefold cardboard digisleeve with inner sleeve that features stunning artwork created by Mauro, the Eibon Commander.

Several live recordings taken some twenty years ago are currently being restored and remastered from digital tapes for inclusion in a special project that will be unveiled soon.

A new Hall of Mirrors track entitled “Towards a New Light” will be included on a forthcoming Kalpamantra / Malignant Records compilation which is going to be released in June.

Good news: “When Only Shades Remain” – the latest Hall of Mirrors CD release – has entered the production process and will be out soon on Eibon Records.

In late November I had a conversation about my habits as a music addict with Matteo Uggeri and also provided some photographic evidence. A post is now available on Concrete Shelves, a blog devoted «to enhance the concept of records as concrete objects» which is run by Uggeri himself.
